Terms and Conditions for AmarMeds

Welcome to AmarMeds ("we", "our", "us"), developed by Webry Technologies. By downloading or using the AmarMeds app, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Medical disclaimer (important)

Not medical advice: AmarMeds is for information only. Medicine details are generated by artificial intelligence (AI) from your photo or search and may be incomplete or wrong, including the medicine name, dosage and warnings. AmarMeds does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Check with a professional: always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's directions and the medicine's label. Never start, stop or change a medicine, or delay getting advice, because of information shown in AmarMeds.

Emergencies: if you think you may have a medical emergency or have taken too much of a medicine, contact a doctor or emergency services immediately.

2. AI-generated content

Results are produced automatically by an AI service (Google Gemini or, when it is unavailable, OpenAI) and are not reviewed by a person. If a result is wrong, offensive or harmful, tap "Report this result" on the result screen or email us.

3. No account needed

You can use AmarMeds without creating an account or signing in. You are responsible for the information you enter in the app.

4. Your data

Scan photos and results are stored on AmarMeds's servers and sent to Google's Gemini API, or to OpenAI's API when Google's is unavailable, for analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy (https://api.amarmeds.tech/privacy). Your scan history list, My Meds and reminders are stored on your device; you are responsible for your device's security and backups. Unless you turn it off in Profile, the app sends usage data and crash reports to Google Firebase, as the Privacy Policy describes.

5. Acceptable use

Use AmarMeds only for lawful purposes. Do not upload photos that are not of medicines or that show other people's personal information, and do not try to disrupt or misuse the service.

6. Intellectual property

The AmarMeds app, its design, branding and code belong to AmarMeds and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the app without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AmarMeds and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including missed doses, misidentified medicines or inaccurate AI results, arising from or connected with your use of the app.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
